Title: Maintenance Technician Submit your CV and any additional required information after you have read this description by clicking on the application button.Estimated start: ASAPShift: M-F, 8-5pm ESTLocation: Clinton, PA Summary:The Depot Repair Technician assembles and repairs Haemonetics machines and devices that are marked for depot repair and documents repair activity using the field service tracking system. In addition to repairing the machines, this person will provide technical support to the Hotline and field service staff on an as needed basis. This position is responsible for maintaining required inventories of parts to perform necessary repairs. Job Responsibilities:Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment by replacing or repairing circuit cards, mechanical sub-assemblies, and discrete components and calibrate equipment according to manufacturer specifications.Refurbish equipment by replacing worn components and cleaning exterior covers. Perform final testing of repaired or refurbished equipment by using various diagnostic tools.Provides technical support to hotline and field service in resolving complex problems related to the machine or device being worked on.Perform administrative responsibilities using software applications to provide asset management and call tracking.Ensures parts are in stock for the repair and maintenance of computer equipment.Assume additional responsibilities for special projects as directed.Maintain inventories of parts to support depot repairPrepare monthly reports on types of repairs and submit to management Skills:Technical school certification in electronics or equivalent experience1 year in a technical repair facility Required3 years Previous technical troubleshooting and repair experience required1-year Technical knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office preferredSit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration and/or moderate noise levels. Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.Exposure to blood. Lifting/moving up to 30 pounds
