Candidates will be expected to pass a drug screening, a light physical exam and background check. QualificationsHigh School or Trade School Graduate or GEDEPA Universal licenseAt least 2 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experienceValid Texas driver's license with a clean recordAble to pass a background checkCommercial HVAC Service: 5 years (Required) Responsibilities:Install, maintain and troubleshoot control systems and wiring for HVAC equipment including thermostats, sensors, relays, contactors, switches, and other electrical componentsRead and interpret blueprints / technical manualsInspect and test control wiring to ensure proper connectionProgram, calibrate and fine-tune systems to optimize performanceConduct regular inspections and preventative maintenanceRespond to service calls and troubleshoot wiring problems, diagnosing electrical systemsAdhere to all codes and regulationsFollow all safety procedures and stay up to date on industry advancementsDesired experience:• Air cooled and/or water cooled systems up to 500 tons• Variable refrigerant flow (VRF/VRV) systems• Water source heat pumps and evaporative condensers• Data center environmental equipment• Understanding of basic HVAC controls and VFD's• Air handling equipment including VAV systems typically found in larger commercial systems• Performing preventative maintenance on hydronic cooling & heating systems• Pump and motor alignmentsRequirements:High school diploma or completion of an HVAC programProven experience as an HVAC control wiring technician or similar roleStrong knowledge of electrical principles and wiring techniques in HVAC control systemsFamiliar with electrical codes, regulations, and safety practicesAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsJob Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:8 hour shiftOn callWeekends as neededTop benefits or perks:As a team member at Power Labor, you'll enjoy:Paid WeeklyReal Full benefits (Healthcare, 401k , Dental and Vision)Get healthcare benefits as low as $35/week5 paid HolidaysGet 40 hours PTO every 1800 hours workedCareer training based on projects.
