Volt is immediately hiring for a Sr. Field Service Technician familiar with high pressure pumping systems. As a Sr. Field Service Technician, each day will be different, and you will travel the US to new customer facilities to provide repair work, routine maintenance and troubleshooting skills to become a trusted partner. In this role, you are the primary point of contact during system commissioning and aftermarket service- a pivotal resource for retailing spare parts and service contracts. This position can be based in any US city close to a major airport. Pay: $38- 42/hour *Perks: Company credit card, cell phone, laptop. All tools are provided. As a Sr. Field Service Technician you will:Repair and maintain fluid flow systems, including heat exchangers and pumps, water piping, pumps, controls as well as combustion, natural gas piping and electrical systemsCustomer pre-consultation, site readiness preparation, startup completion and monitoring including combustion process tuning and documentation, heat exchanger operation, wastewater systems operation, control systems operation and other system and equipment sub-Replacement or rebuilding of electrical and mechanical components.Perform preventative and corrective maintenance or repairs to equipment and perform upgrades and/or planned routine maintenance on the equipment.Determine causes of equipment faults, planning correction and resolution of the problems.Complete service reports, log repairs, warranty and maintenance performed.Approach every project assuring safety standards are paramount and precisely utilized. This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma required.3+ plus years of related industry experience (high-pressure pumping systems)Electro-Mechanical with pneumatics, hydraulics, AC/DC motor control, PLC's, VFD's, Pump Systems and Allen-Bradley Controls troubleshooting.Combustion processes operation and experience is a plusIndustrial wastewater treatment operational experience is a plus Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 80% of time and anywhere in the US.Most trips are 3-4 days, home whenever the project is completed. You can return home or book another project immediately! Lots of OT available.
