Responsibilities:Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on all plant equipmentMechanic will maintain 24vdc to13.8kv electrical equipment, as well as mechanical systems, instrumentation, and control systemsMechanic will follow all safety and environmental regulationsRequirements:Candidate must have 5 years experience working in an industrial environment or power plantCandidate must have a High School Diploma/GED equivalent, Associate's in Engineering/Industrial Technology or Military Technical School preferredCandidate must have experience maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical, and instrument control systemsCandidate must be familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management SystemsCandidate must be comfortable working a 12/hr Dupont shift as well as any overtime requiredCandidate must have valid NC Driver's LicenseWill be required to pass a criminal background check and drug test
