For over 20 years we have been at the intersection of synthetic biology and machine learning and its application across a multitude of industries from pharmaceuticals to biocatalysis to food.Core FocusATUM is seeking a Director of Marketing based at our headquarters in Newark, CA. The successful candidate will utilize marketing and scientific expertise to launch new offerings and implement marketing activities for our cutting-edge portfolio. Responsibilities will include: Support launch of new products by developing presentations, collateral, sales training materials, awareness campaigns and website contentDevelop marketing collateral including brochures, data sheets, application notes, flyers, presentations, video projects, etc.Support tradeshows by developing messaging, conference emails, and collateral; ownership for scientific abstract submission, poster and podium presentation schedulesCreate, organize, and manage campaigns to generate leads that will drive a robust sales funnelManage our HubSpot CRM system, develop and monitor metrics of campaigns and manage leads into the funnelWork with our vendors to optimize and publish website content updatesTravel to marketing events as requiredTrack success using KPIs and other metrics and report out to senior leadership on a regular basisCreate and manage the release process for company press releases, manage and distribute materials to the mediaRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years' marketing experience, ideally including launching new products and services in life sciencesBachelor's degree in life sciences, communications or marketingExperience with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot)Understanding of online/digital marketing, website management and social mediaScientific background or advanced degree in life sciences with experience in biotechnology / biotherapeutic development is a plusExperience in using AI tools (e.g. Jasper) for content generation is a plusMust be able to work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects and prioritize daily tasksAs an employee-owned company, we believe each unique individual's contribution complements the overall strata of what makes us successful.
