Role OverviewAs a Staff Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and detailing of structural systems for projects in renewable energy, oil & gas, and industrial facilities. This role provides the opportunity to work on challenging projects that require a deep understanding of steel and concrete design while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance structural solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures in wind and solar energy, oil & gas, and industrial sectorsDevelop detailed construction documents, including calculations, drawings, and specificationsConduct site visits, field inspections, and assessments to evaluate existing structures and ensure quality construction practicesCollaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to optimize structural solutions.Assist in reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and providing construction-phase supportEnsure designs comply with industry codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, API, and other relevant regulationsResearch and implement innovative materials and design techniques to improve structural efficiency and sustainability Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)4+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in renewable energy, oil & gas, or industrial facilitiesEIT certification required; PE license preferred (or ability to obtain soon)Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design for heavy industrial and energy-related structuresProficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, ETABS, RAM, STAAD, Revit) a plus Why Join Us?Salary: $95,000 - $120,000Become an owner in the firm and receive profit sharingWork remotely 80% of the time, but always have a dedicated workstation in the office and come into the office as often as you chooseWork on a wide diversity of project types If you're passionate about structural engineering and looking to make an impact in regenerative energy, oil & gas, and industrial design, and other industries, we'd love to hear from you!Apply today!
