Job Purpose:Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityCreates Web pages by developing and testing HTML code for text, images, and related elements.Duties:* Plans web site by identifying and evaluating intended audience interests and capabilities; evaluating browser capabilities.* Plans web site visual appearance by determining overall cohesiveness, functionality, appearance, and navigation.* Builds web site by specifying elements and attributes, logical and physical styles, background graphics, external images, sounds, and animations; defining anchors and relative and absolute path links; entering comments; writing code and using text editors; following accepted html specifications.* Validates site by testing usability, including troubleshooting coding, overlaps, embedded links, named anchors, and dummy images.* Maintains site by updating information and coding.* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications; maintaining personal networks.* Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Skills/Qualifications:Web User Interface Design, Requirements Analysis, Concept Development, HTML, Customer Focus, Web Graphic Design, Web Savvy, Verbal Communication, Creativity, Web Programming Skills, Web Multimedia Knowledge
