Volt is immediately hiring for an Instructor: Diesel Engine Diagnostics in Davenport, IA to work on-site with a Fortune 500 heavy-equipment manufacturer. Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm As the Instructor, you will deliver engine and drivetrain diagnostic training to service technicians obtaining new trainings for their own dealerships.These trainings are already written and established.You will provide daily virtual trainings to small groups with a focus on diesel engine-system diagnostics (may eventually get into hybrid, and battery-electric drive systems).Must be comfortable delivering training virtually from a technical training studio.Collaborate with engineering personnel to align training with emerging technologies.Collaborate with customer-service personnel to adapt training to current customer needs.Connect with dealers to solicit feedback on training effectiveness. This is a FULL TIME opportunity. The ideal candidate will have the following required experience:Comfortable delivering technical information, virtually. Experience in diagnosing engine and drivetrain systems.Experience training heavy-equipment dealer technicians in a classroom or shop environment.Preferred experience (any of the following)Experience teaching advanced engine diagnostic classes.Experience operating and/or servicing heavy equipment.Experience delivering instructor-led technical training virtually. Experience working directly with heavy-equipment dealer technicians.
