Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered (DHA) is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to work on the Potomac Interceptor Sewer Pipeline Project.Scroll down to find the complete details of the job offer, including experience required and associated duties and tasks.SALARY RANGE$65 to $90 per hour"ResponsibilitiesPrepare Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) preparation experience;Develop studies and support capital improvement project planning, including permitting processes;Oversee and manage designs prepared by others, as well as review design and construction submittals; andCoordinate with various stakeholders and manage multiple project schedules and budgets.QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field;Must have eight (8) to twenty-five (25) years of experience in engineering design and management;Professional Engineering (PE) license in Washington, DC, or the ability to obtain one within one year;Pipeline design experience including hydraulic profile and flow rate calculations;Pipeline upgrades project experience with trenchless technologies for pipeline upgrades, project permitting processes, and bypass systems;Familiarity with the client's design standards is preferred;Familiarity with project management software and Microsoft Office programs is required; andStrong verbal and written communication skills are required.Working ConditionsWork is performed within a general office environment about 90% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Field work is required about 10% of the time where work may be conducted outside in one or more of the following conditions: heat or cold, wet or humid, and dry or arid. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required as needed.
