Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc., is seeking to hire a Service Manager for our Nashville, Tennessee location. Below are the key principles we stand by.Cover and Move (Teamwork and Support): We seek candidates who thrive in a collaborative environment, supporting their team to achieve shared goals and overcome challenges together.Simple (Clarity and Communication): Candidates should value clear, straightforward communication, ensuring everyone understands their role to maintain efficiency and avoid confusion.Prioritize and Execute (Efficiency and Focus): We look for individuals who can prioritize tasks effectively, focusing on the most critical issues to make the best use of time and resources.Decentralized Command (Empowerment and Trust): Ideal candidates take ownership of their responsibilities, make informed decisions independently, and align their efforts with the company's mission while fostering innovation and accountability.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Technician ManagementCollaborate with dispatcher to manage day to day schedule or service technicians to 85% utilization and maximum profitability.Manage service technicians ensuring proper conduct, tasks, safety, and etiquette with customer.Communicate with technicians on schedules, issues, or concerns.Monitor and approve purchased items related to emergency service jobs and non- stock items.Atlas Customer ManagementCommunicate with customers on schedules, issues, or concernsQuote service repairs as neededTimely review and billing of service jobsCollaborate with the Service Agreement Coordinator to maximize efficiency of preventative maintenance schedulesAccountable for service technician compliance to company established directivesPerform other duties as assigned by management or in accordance with Atlas bylawsCollaborate with sales, customers, and other key members to develop solutionsDevelop and execute solutions to customer issues in a timely mannerDevelop relationships with customers, maintain and improve attachment rateProper and timely communication across all channelsEnsure accurate purchase order capture and effective management of open jobsAvailable for on call rotation for managers for afterhours emergency callsRequirements:Knowledge and experience in industrial Air Compressor systems preferredEducation: High School diploma, (GED) or a minimum 3-years' experience in air compressor industryManagement experience preferred but not requiredStrong ability to manage timelines and complete assigned tasks efficientlyExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills, including data analysis and solution developmentCritical thinking ability with a focus on logical reasoning and decision-makingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applicationsAbility to understand, prepare and present reports as neededBenefits:401(k) Retirement plan401(k) Company MatchingHealth, Dental, and Vision insuranceCompany-paid life insurance, short/long-term disability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountPaid time offParental leaveHoliday payIt is Atlas' Policy to employ qualified people to perform the many tasks necessary in operating our Company.
