Our R&D centers, production sites and sales offices, as well as our technical support team and award-winning customer service team offer our customers the most cost-effective and fast time-to market solutions.Job title: MCCII Packaging OperatorWork Location: JRS Pharma LP - Cedar Rapids, IowaDivision/Department: ProductionReports to: Production ManagerFull-timeNonexemptPosition Summary:The Packaging Operator operates packaging system and material handling equipment to safely produce quality product in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Operate all equipment necessary to properly package finished productLoad, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous itemsMaintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs/adjustments; report all malfunctions and needed repairsMaintain accurate and complete recordsRoutinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilitiesAssist in training new packagersPerform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standardsEffectively communicate with all other team membersParticipate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projectsExecute other responsibilities and projects as required Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentPrevious packaging experience in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing plant ? Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office / control system experience Physical Requirements:Flexibility to work rotating shift assignments and overtime as requiredShould be physically able as job includes a certain amount of lifting and moving (~60 lbs)Walking, standing, bending, graspingCompensation details: 24.92-24.92 Hourly WagePI36bbda85655b-35216-37013988
