The Association also provides education and information for its members and informs the public about hospitals and healthcare issues at the state and national levels.JOB SUMMARY:The Director of ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) Services is responsible for supporting hospitals that participate in the Hospital Investment Program's (HIP) Quality Program and the associated ADT-related quality measures.The director will lead efforts to enhance and broaden connectivity with hospitals and expand the notification service to new healthcare organizations, including practices, provider groups, and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, clients, and strategic partners to enhance and optimize ADT services provided by the association.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB :1. The ability to adapt to a changing work environment and meet challenges presented throughout the day.2. Support hospitals that are working to improve the provision of ADT data to meet quality measures in the HIP program through coordination of necessary technical contacts, providing information about their reporting percentages, and/or researching information to address any questions.3. Monitor and manage continued connectivity of THA's ADT network, including:· Monitor the current THA ADT network through various reporting avenues.· Establish communication process with connected hospitals needing to update their interface or electronic medical records (EMR).· Coordinate with vendor and hospital staff on any interface outages or updates (due to hospital system changes, hospital ownership changes, software updates, EMR migrations, etc.).· Coordinate with vendor and hospital staff to support onboarding of new hospitals to the network.4. Monitor and manage current subscribers of THA's notification services, including:· Ensure subscribers are providing updated rosters according to the terms of the subscription agreement.· Manage the invoicing process. Review invoicing aging reports and communicate and coordinate with subscribers as needed regarding delinquent payments.· Serve as the point of contact for subscribers for any subscription agreement related questions.5. Coordinate with vendor to onboard new subscribers, including:· Work with prospective subscribers to understand needs, requirements, and timelines.· Identify the appropriate service or level of service and educate subscribers on our products and services.· Coordinate with the vendor's sales team for demonstrations of the products and services.· Orient new subscribers to the onboarding process.6. Serve as a primary liaison to our vendor.7. Serve as a primary liaison to TennCare for the provision of ADT data. Ensure THA's contract deliverables are met.8. Serve as a primary liaison to Tennessee managed care organizations (MCOs) for any troubleshooting activities related to their subscriptions.9. Must be available in the office during regular office hours unless job responsibilities require otherwise, or hybrid work arrangement is in place.10. THA Data Release PolicyEducational and Experience Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:Education· Bachelor's degree is preferred in a scientific or related healthcare field.OR· Consideration given to candidates with credentials as a Project Management Professional (PMP) that also have an associate's degree.Experience· Requires at least two years of experience working in healthcare, hospitals, or public health.· Familiarity with electronic medical records including but not limited to Epic, Oracle (Cerner), and Meditech.· Project management experience is a strong plus.Skills Required to Perform the Duties of the Job:1.
