Oversee the off-shift operations of the several units - Telemetry-CCU-CTICU- to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and caring to our patients. Partner closely with Patient Care Director's, who will help mentor and guide you in your new leadership role.Establish short- and long-term goals for the unit, manage and evaluate staff, lead nightly huddles, support clinical decision-making and work closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate services.Regularly assess unit operations (including patient flow and throughput) to identify room for improvement. Lead initiatives focused on enhancing quality and performance throughout the unit. Continuously move forward in your career, as you receive numerous opportunities to learn and grow.This is a full-time evening (2PM - midnight) position located at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.Preferred CriteriaMaster's Degree in Nursing or related areaCardiothoracic ICU experience - 2 years or more2 years critical care experienceCharge nurse or supervisor experienceRequired Criteria· Bachelor's Degree in Nursing· Current New York State RN license· At least two years of acute care RN experience in critical care· BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association · Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills· Strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experienceJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
