Job Overview: Our Southern Pines Plant is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor who is responsible for leading our maintenance team in the Plant to ensure our operations are running efficiently.  Responsibilities: Ensure all employees follow all Ingersoll Rand EHS requirementsEnsure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulationsInspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenancePrepare daily and weekly maintenance schedules and allocate workRecruit, supervise, train and develop maintenance techniciansInspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure complianceManage inventory of materials and equipmentPlanning and scheduling regular maintenance tasks such as equipment inspectionsAddressing emergency maintenance issues promptlyCoordinating with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance workInspecting properties and equipment to determine the need for repairs or renovationsApply, maintain and improve reliability system processesEnsure operational excellence and problem solving by making recommendations to the facility leaderRequirements: 2 or more years of experience as maintenance supervisor or similar roleStrong mechanical and technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulationsUnderstanding of budgeting and performance managementExcellent planning and leadership abilitiesMicrosoft experience including; Words, Excel, and OutlookExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCore Competencies: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must wear OSHA approved safety glasses, safety shoes (steel toe) and hearing protection entering the manufacturing and warehouse area.Strong Mechanical aptitude.Able to work in a team environment.Good interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of industrial communication and protocols.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet/exceed performance parameters.Willing to participate in continuous learning opportunities as part of job and personal development.Effectively and safely uses precision tools, machinery, and equipment.Must be resourceful, and a flexible, decisive, and proactive problem solver.Must be able to work well in high pressure, fast-paced environment.Must possess a strong customer service orientation and must provide dedicated support of internal customer requirements.Must possess strong organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple priorities at once.Preferences: Professional Certifications (e.g. CMRP or HVAC certified) preferredHigh school diploma required and degree from a vocational school a plusElectrical knowledge a plusFamiliar with 6s and supporting process improvements preferred.Travel and Work Arrangements/Requirements: This position will be based at our corporate offices in Southern Pines, NC, with minimal anticipated travel.What we offer: At Ingersoll Rand, we embrace a culture of personal ownership "” taking responsibility for our company, our communities, and our environment, as well as our individual health and well-being.
