Quality Manager

Position: Quality ManagerSalary: Up to $135KCity: Warren, MIType: Direct - In office We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager with a proven track record in the automotive industry. This role will be instrumental in leading quality assurance initiatives, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and sustain quality management systems aligned with IATF 16949 standards.Lead quality assurance processes, including PPAP, APQP, and GD&T.Oversee compliance with Q1 standards and manage Q1 certification.Utilize CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to ensure precise measurement and quality control.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green or Black Belt preferred).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to maintain compliance with industry regulations.Provide training and support to staff on quality processes and systems.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Quality Management.A minimum of 5 years of quality management experience in the automotive industry.Certified Green or Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and quality management systems.Hands-on experience with PPAP, APQP, and GD&T processes.Demonstrated success in maintaining Q1 certification.Proficiency in CMM operation for quality control.Exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and leadership skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead quality initiatives and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic automotive environment.
