Volt is immediately hiring a Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift in Pico Rivera, CA. Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) This is a Full-Time/ Direct-Hire opportunity. Industry: Food Manufacturing Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 Annually (DOE) *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. What You'll Do:Champion safety by implementing and enforcing best practices and procedures.Empower your team through training and mentorship on operational and safety protocols.Mastermind production schedules, manpower planning, and on-time delivery.Ensure top-notch quality by inspecting products and overseeing equipment.Drive continuous improvement by recommending innovative production methods and enhancements.Proactively plan department operations by reviewing production orders.Tackle operational challenges, address employee needs, and collaborate effectively across teams.Qualifications:3+ years of demonstrated success in supervising manufacturing teams, ideally in a union setting.Food Manufacturing Industry experience preferred but not required.
