As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to join our teamA Sr. Applications Engineer's major function is to win profitable, low risk work for Calvary Robotics while maintaining a long term, positive relationship with our external and internal customers. In addition to leading strategic and technically challenging applications efforts, Sr. Applications Engineers will be responsible to lead other Applications Engineers in quoting efforts in addition to reviewing others work as directed from Applications Management. Some travel will be required for standard application sales support calls.Scroll down to find an indepth overview of this job, and what is expected of candidates Make an application by clicking on the Apply button.Provides technical solutions for various customer specific automation applicationsDevelop & represent working mechanical and controls solutions in electronic format (AutoCAD, SW, Rendering/Animations)Develop detailed labor and material cost estimates for the proposed automation solutionProvides comprehensive and detailed written descriptions of the technical and commercial aspects of the proposed equipmentEstablish time & sequence charts of all motion-based assembly and test tasksPossess strong working knowledge of the assembly & test automation technologies in the medical device, electronic, automotive, consumer product and health care industriesWork cohesively with Account Management in the development and promotion of automation solutionsBe available for periodic overnight travel (domestic and global)Interface with design, manufacturing engineering, and production personnel to develop solutions and ensure implementationSupport and lead in a seamless and complete transfer of technical and commercial information from Sales & Applications to Project Management and Engineering following the receipt of purchase ordersBachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology, and/or other degrees10+ years' experience in automation, machining building, manufacturing, or robotics
