The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and be able to promote our mission, vision, and guiding principles, as well as collaborate with their teammates to generate extraordinary growth. This individual will be a fierce advocate for our clients and our brand. In addition, the person will provide customized solutions to clients and ensure a positive customer experience during the sales cycle to drive repeat business and continued customer loyalty.The Regional Sales Director will report to the Director of Sales and be responsible for the development and growth of a client base through strategic outside sales activity. This includes prospecting for new accounts in a defined territory, developing consultative relationships with clients, and managing ongoing account and territory activity. New logo growth (hunting) will be the primary focus of this role, along with required account management. This role will also focus on small and mid-market sales. Responsibilities: Meet and exceed all revenue goals and sales targetsNew logos (hunting) will be the primary responsibility of this roleContribute with development of leads and prospects and securing new business by participating in conference calls, webinars and in-person visitsEffectively present and demonstrate our full suite of products and services to new prospects and existing clientsBuild relationships with regional and enterprise customers through professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skillsManage a travel expense budget effectivelyAchieve an annual sales quota and provide reasonably accurate sales forecasts to managementBe an escalation point (third level) for customer service and customer success personnelBe a conduit to product marketing and engineering by communicating and defining customer requirements in addition to communicating product/solution concepts and solutions to customersNegotiate cogent contracts with customers involving SkyBitz management team as requiredAssess customer needs and qualify sales opportunitiesPrepare, present and clarify quotations and all related sale documentation to customersInitiate, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective clients at executive levelsDemonstrate and maintain a thorough understanding of the target market and functional business activityDemonstrate SkyBitz solutions and focus on customer-specific business and financial benefits with a high degree of proficiencyAnalyze and understand customer insights and market trends; adapt, communicate and evolve strategies based on these changesMaintain consistent pipeline of existing and prospective businessMeet and exceed all revenue goals and sales targetsProvide accurate sales forecast to management Qualifications: 5+ years consultative sales experience preferably in the Transportation IndustrySolution sales experience---Cloud based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model and someone experienced with selling solutions to customers challenges without a focus on hardware. Hardware is a part of most sales.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceStrong communication and demonstration skills (customer facing)Understand sales process, strategies, and solution sellingTechnical sales proficiency---able to articulate complex solutions to the customerDemonstrate ability to develop, build and maintain strong relationships with sales team, partners, vendors, and customersExceptional time management skillsAbility to analyze complex problems or situations and develop effective solutionsExceptional work ethic, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to create convincing proposals and documentationProficient with MS Office, SalesForce, Zoom Info and SalesLoftExperience conducting sales presentations and webinars to perspective customersMust be a competitive, self-motivated sales professional with excellent interpersonal skillsMinimum of 5 years' experience selling solutions to mid-market corporations and preferably to companies in the IoT/M2M industryProven success of quota over-attainment during the past several yearsProven success in developing new business while managing and growing existing client salesValid driver's license with good driving recordMust be willing to travelSalary Min/Max- $100K- $120KIncentive- yesWe offer: Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick, 401KSalary Min/Max- $100K- $120KIncentive- yes
