Engine Powertrain Test Technician

Volt DTS is searching for a Structural Test Technician to support a key client, located in the Milwaukee, WI area.   In this role you will have the opportunity to become part of a prestigious team of innovative professionals.   As a Structural Test Technician, you will:Follow work order instructions to implement test requirementsMaintain, calibrate and apply instrumentationFabricate customized transducersModify parts for installation of instrumentationFabrication of test fixturesSet-up of servo-hydraulic and electrodynamic test systemsReduce component data into formats usable for validation testingOperate data acquisition systems to collect data from sensors in support of testingOperate test equipment:  replicate or measure desired responses in the test environment (servo-hydraulic and electro-dynamic)Write engineering reports that documents the test environment for knowledge captureStrict adherence to the 5S concept and all other supporting CI (continuous improvement) methodsThis is a full-time, contingent opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Experience conducting structures testing (i.e. bolt strength, stress gauges, etc.)Experience analyzing test dataExperience working in a test cellPay Rate: $30.00 - 37.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
