Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a Bread Production Warehouse in Brea CA to hire experienced Food Production Warehouse Associates. your role is to produce high quality bakery products using a variety of processing equipment. Team members are expected to take an active role in areas of Safety, Quality, and Productivity. All positions are physically demanding and require being flexible to perform various tasks around the warehouse. Associates must be able to work the required over time/ weekends. Please note the schedule has 1 day off during the week and 1 day off on the weekend Job Duties: MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO CROSS TRAIN Operate in work groups and monitor processes within an area of responsibilityComply and must be able to function, perform, and follow Bakery policies and standards under limited supervisionFollow recipes to produce food products- Set up, operate, and tend equipment that cooks, mixes, or blends ingredients in manufacturing of food productsUnderstand proper use of all equipment including refrigerators, freezers, proofer, oven, racks, and thermometerPrepare, produce and package productsOperate processing equipment while evaluating product and package qualityMaintain equipment and work space cleanlinessPerform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and ManagersAdhere to uniform and grooming policy as defined by company policyMeet punctuality and attendance standardsMinimum Requirements: Experience in the food production is preferred, but not requiredMust be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, stand and walk 8-10 hr. shiftNon-slip Shoes Mandatory! $16.50 1st Shift 5:00AM - 1:30PM +OT $16.50 1st Shift 6:00AM - 2:30PM +OT $16.50 2nd Shift 2:30PM - 10:30PM +OT Schedule: 1 day off during the weekday 1 day off on the weekend!
