Apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions. Final training as electronics technician or communications technician or similiar. Experience with control panel construction, construction of mobile radio or similar. May require an Associate's degree or technical school certification. Good MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Explorer etc.). Ability to work accurately, to be adept in technology. To have experience with elements of mobile radio technology.
