Nurse Practitioner - PNP - Full Time - Pediatric Behavioral Health Program/ Ambulatory Care Network - Columbia Campus Thrive at the forefront of top-notch nursing at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. As an essential part of our Ambulatory Care Network (ACN), the Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner will be working with an interdisciplinary team in the outpatient setting providing psychiatric evaluations, triage, stabilization, and linkage to ongoing outpatient treatment for patients with diverse emotional health needs and acuity of symptoms. Medication management and short-term treatment will be provided for children, adolescents and their families. Collaboration with other mental health providers such as social workers, psychologists, case manager and psychiatrists would be integral in patient care.Pursue this unprecedented opportunity to pioneer change within our world-renowned practice, and feel the pride of Making It Possible. This is a Monday- Friday 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. full time day shift position. Preferred Criteria:• Pediatric Behavioral Health NP with 2-3 years experience in the outpatient setting• Previous work experience providing psychopharmacology and combined psychotherapeutic treatment• Behavioral Health experience with a focus on children and adolescents• Work with patients with comorbid psychiatric and substance use issues• Strong psychiatric diagnostic skills• Bilingual- English/SpanishRequired Criteria:• Master's Degree in Advanced Practice • Board Certification Pediatric / Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner• NYS RN & NP licensure• Minimum of two years PMHNP experience• Current BLS certification through AHA• Strong communication and interpersonal skills Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
