Work Hours: Up to 95% travel required to job sites (home on weekends). Full-time, Non-Exempt position. Due to the projects this position will be working on, the employee is required to be a U.S. Citizen. You will get to travel all over learning a niche industry, including work on military bases. Work in a fast-paced environment and do something different every day. Fuel Systems Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: Perform recurring maintenance and repairs to petroleum distribution systems Effective communication with subcontractors, project managers and construction managers Operate various power tools and hand tools Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations regarding petroleum storage Travel 95% to job sites out of town (home weekends) Working outdoors in all weather conditions Fuel Systems Maintenance Technician Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience with fuel systems, construction safety, industrial or commercial HVAC (not residential), or pipefitting. Valid Driver's License Ability to travel up to 95% of the time Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. continuously Basic computer skills in Word and Excel Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail "‹Fuel Systems Maintenance Technician Preferences: High school diploma or GED Prior experience supporting fuel system projects Other Duties: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this job.
