Come join a #1 team and do some good!ResponsibilitiesAuto Injury is a customer-facing segment handling bodily injury and uninsured/underinsured claims along with property damage claims involving injuries. The Injury segment is on the cutting edge with the use of analytics to support claim employees in developing enhanced skillsets to support and protect our policyholders. Claims will be tiered within Injury based upon their claim characteristics, complexity, and severity. This could range from non-attorney represented bodily injuries, up to attorney represented and/or litigation claims.Helping people recover from the unexpected can be one of the most rewarding aspects of the Injury claims position. Responsibilities for this role include:Responsibilities for this role include:Reviewing and analyzing injury claims to determine coverage, liability, and damagesConducting thorough investigations by gathering relevant information, interviewing involved parties, and reviewing supporting documentationEvaluating medical records, police reports, and other related documents to assess the extent of injuries and liabilityNegotiating settlements with claimants, ensuring fair compensation is provided within policy limitsDocumenting all claim activities, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports as requiredCollaborating with internal teams, including legal, medical, and risk assessment, to ensure proper claim handlingClaims employees may occasionally deal with difficult and emotional investigations which include traumatic injury and loss of lifeHandling may include lawsuits and/or demands as well as working with Attorneys Where You'll Work:This is a hybrid position which allows you to spend some of your time working from home as well as some time working collaboratively in-office. During the job training period you may have a higher percentage of time spent in-office to support your learning experience.Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible work shifts and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours. Candidates may be asked to work outside of their assigned territory as business needs dictates.
