This is a Hybrid role between On-site and Remote throughout the week Who We Are: SolutionHealth is an integrated health system uniquely focused on providing access to high-value, primary, and specialty care that meets the growing needs of the communities we serve.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.Our IT department is diverse, strategic, and innovative focusing on patients, community, clinicians, outcome, safety, and quality.It's an exciting time at SolutionHealth as we continue to advance our technology platforms.About the Job: The Senior Informatics Nurse utilizes knowledge of clinical processes to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate applications and technologies, ensuring the quality, effectiveness, and usability of the applications meets the needs of clinical and operational users.The Senior Informatics Nurse applies insight and a variety of analytical techniques to conceive process improvements and develops effective solutions to operational issues.The scope of this position encompasses the functional and operational areas of Clinical Systems following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Informatics by the American Nurses Association.The Senior Informatics Nurse role understands the collective organizational need and demonstrates independent judgement and critical thinking skills.What You'll Do: Performs applications implementation through analysis, design, testing and evaluation.Works with clinical operations in medium to large scope projects to define problems, prioritize viable alternatives through collaboration with staff and department leaders.Leads system workflow analysis and evaluation to facilitate process re-engineering.Oversees usability test plans, creates patient testing scenarios, and evaluates results with user department(s) and others.Coordinates and provides demonstrations as needed.Demonstrates strong skills and efficiencies in managing work.Assists peers in meeting customer needs.Translates requirements into system design and workflows, data collection and reporting needs.Provides relevant clinical knowledge input and ensures appropriate resources are engaged to resolve system problems working in collaboration with others.Documents and in some instances approve, Change Management per policy.Assists with the development and implementation of educational strategies and materials, focusing on best practice model, current patient flow initiatives and regulatory requirements.Plans, manages and over-sees components of projects ensuring project coordination among interdisciplinary teams from inception to completion.Participates in various organizational committees, task forces, and teams as needed.Presents complex information effectively in large and diverse group settings.Who You Are: Education: associate degree in nursing Required.Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.Licensure/Certification: Current New Hampshire licensure as a Registered Nurse.Vendor required certification in good standing (or proficiency if vendor accepts) for applications/modules employee is assigned to support.If not currently certified (or proficient) employee will have 6 months from their DOH (Date of Hire) or DOT (Date of Transfer) into a position that requires certification (proficiency).Experience: Minimum of 4 years IS Experience managing implementation projects and EMR best practice design.Why You'll Love Us: Health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time & part-time employees Short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage Competitive pay Tuition Reimbursement 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan And more ACB
