We use the most advanced technology available to diagnose and treat orthopedic conditions including advanced MRI, robotic surgery, and orthobiologics to help our patients reach their full potential.DutiesWe are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Nurse Practitioner to join our arthroplasty team. This NP will be responsible for preoperative management of all arthroplasty patients of the NSPG orthopedics department. This department consists of 10 orthopedic surgeons, 5 of which are arthroplasty surgeons. This NP's duties will include: Working closely with arthroplasty surgeons to facilitate and optimize patients for planned surgery Completing all preoperative physical examinations Evaluating labs Ordering consults, EKGs and any other necessary pre-op testing Placing necessary orders for day of surgery Working closely with the orthopedic surgeons, outpatient arthroplasty nurse practitioner and the inpatient orthopedic PA team to coordinate seamless care for the patients transition to and from surgeryThis NP will split their time between our two orthopedic clinics located at: 4 Centennial Drive, Peabody, MA 01960 100 Cummings Center, Beverly, MA 01915We are looking for an NP to work (5) 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday. The NP is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation.Does this position require Patient Care?
