Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor - $5,000 Pro-rated Sign-on BonusCheck you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below.Immediate Part Time Opportunity - 21 Hours per weekRiverdale-New YorkRiverSpring Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Supervisor to join our dynamic team of professionals at our RiverSpring Licensed Home Care Services Agency!The RiverSpring Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) provides comprehensive and personalized home healthcare services for older adults to maximize their independence at home. The LPN Supervisor will provide neighborhood leadership and essential nursing services to residents and their families within our Assisted Living Residence (ALR) in accordance with the agency's policies and procedures under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and the Director of Nursing of the ALR.The RiverSpring Living campus is set on 32 acres overlooking the Hudson River, in Riverdale, New York. RiverSpring Living provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervisoryOversees neighborhoods and manages Home Health Aides (HHAs) in reinforcing elements of residents' plan of careProvide supervision and direction to Home Health Aides OperationsDeliver nursing care in accordance with agency policies and procedures.Participate in incident reporting and follow-up actions.Assist with resident admissions and conduct daily stand-up meetings with Home Health Aides.Completes, maintains and submits accurate clinical records and prepares oral reports.ClinicalAssist in preparing and evaluating nursing care plans.Observe, document, and report changes in residents' conditions Perform nursing procedures, including medication administration and treatments.Manage medication for residents, including changes, new prescriptions, and refills.Assists Nursing management with the assessments and reassessments of residents to determine health needs.Employee EngagementFosters a positive working environment, promoting teamwork and staff developmentAddresses employee concerns and ensures that staff adhere to organizational policies.Residents Relations & SupportEnsures a safe and healthy living environment for all residents.Undertakes resident/family teaching for self-care and continuity of care.Qualifications/SkillsGraduate of an accredited practical nursing program.Valid New York State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in community nursing, acute care, or adult care facilities.Supervisory experience and medication management preferredCompensation$5,000 (less taxes) Sign-on Bonus$40.00 hourly Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.Equal Opportunity Employer
