Quality Manager

ITS has a client in the Toledo, OH area seeking a Quality Manager.  This is a direct hire role with full beneifts including 401k. Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.Job Responsibilities:• Manages and coordinates all the activities within the Quality Department to ensure that the group runs efficiently, and quality targets are met at the lowest possible cost.• Provides resources and support for continuous improvement activities including the improvement of manufacturing processes, safety and product quality and all other functions.• Manages all facets of internal / external customer activities related to Quality issues and overall customer satisfaction in terms of product quality.• Complies with the designated IATF-16949 responsibilities, Environmental Management System, Health & Safety and Company rules and guidelines. Ensures systems and processes identify any non-conformance and correcting them in a timely manner.• Represent management for the adherence to ISO14001, reporting on the performance of the environmental management system to management for review and as a basis for improvement of the environmental system.• Initiates and controls inspection practices/procedures relating to material processed and workmanship ensuring that incoming material and parts, work in progress and finished goods meet pre-determined quality standards.Who we are looking for: Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study. IATF-16949 lead assessor qualification or equivalent preferred. Sound knowledge of statistical methods.
