The position's key responsibilities will include assisting with emergency response procedures, supporting event logistics, and maintaining office functionality, all while ensuring safety and seamless coordination across the space. Job Duties What You Will Be Doing: Visitor Reception & Customer Service: Welcome and direct visitors to appropriate areas, answer inquiries, and provide guidance as needed. You will also offer customer service to 6th-floor users, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment.Office Operations: Maintain office supplies on the 6th floor, support printer and plotter functionality, and oversee daily mail sorting, package reception, and signing for deliveries.Onboarding & Administrative Support: Provide onboarding tours for new members and visitors, helping them navigate the space. Additionally, you will support general office administration including posting daily schedules and connecting employees with division-specific administrators.Event Logistics Support: Coordinate event schedules, assist with event setup and tear-down, handle signage, and manage calendars for meeting and event spaces.Tech Support: Offer basic tech assistance to users on the 6th floor to ensure smooth operations. Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills Qualifications You Bring:This position requires a proactive, service-oriented individual who can maintain efficiency and professionalism while supporting a wide range of administrative duties in a fast-paced coworking space.Previous experience in office administration, customer service, or facilities management is highly desirable.Maintain inventory, order, collect and distribute supplies.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with visitors, employees, and management.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the public.Must be able to tactfully handle information requests and complaints from a diverse range of customers and demonstrate diplomacy and strong customer service skills.Commitment to advancing King County's Equity, Racial, and Social Justice priorities. Strong knowledge and skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; working knowledge and experience with, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Jackson Street, Seattle, WA, 6th floor Collaboration Center.Requirement: Employees must reside in Washington State and be within a reasonable distance to King County worksites to meet onsite reporting requirements.Work Schedule: This position is covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is overtime eligible.
