The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining mission system environments with a mix of OS and hosting solutions. Integration of the mission systems will include the install and configuration of the Operating Systems and Mission software, Infrastructure services, and Cyber Security hardening. A solid understanding of Linux and Windows administration is required. A candidate must be a self-starter, be able to work independently, work effectively in a diverse technical team, and could take ownership of issues through resolution.Essential Functions: Linux and Windows systems deployment, upgrades, configuration management, patching and maintenanceFamiliar with Linux and Windows systems security standards (RMF, CMMC, DFARS, NISPOM)Installation and hardening of software systems and networksRoutine monitoring and inspection of secured systemsBackup and recovery within a Linux or Windows based system of backup technologiesOn site (not fully remote) position Hardware lifecycle management, including evaluating new hardware needs and making purchase recommendationsCoach, mentor and train new team membersAssist leadership with business decisions demonstrating and safeguarding the company by assuring that applicable laws and policies are followedResponsible for dissecting customer contracts into a detailed and actionable backlog of tasks, ensuring clear team objectives and deliverables for successful project execution Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Active DoD Secret Clearance is Required to startAble to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
