You'll join a driven and dynamic team of individuals in executing this world-class sporting event responsible for bringing professional Golf back to New England. As a Volunteer Services Intern, you will be responsible for the management and execution of the FM Championship's volunteer program. You will serve as the main point of contact for 400+ volunteers who are key to ensuring that our event is run flawlessly. If you're looking to get inside knowledge on the multi-faceted world of event operations and want the opportunity to utilize your organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills - this role is right for you.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESServe as main contact for 400+ event volunteersManage recruitment, training and coordination of volunteers as well as the online volunteer database for scheduling management and communication plansOversee Volunteer HQ set up, including F&B, and volunteer servicesAssist with community events and local outreachKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESAbility and willingness to gain expertise and perform work in new areas.Proficient in written and oral communication to effectively coordinate and manage Tournament logistics.Demonstrated capability to work independently on multiple projects.Flexibility to assist with areas of the Tournament as needed.Collaborative nature, demonstrating enthusiasm for all tasks and projects.Excellent organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail.INTERNSHIP QUALIFICATIONSMust be currently enrolled as a college/graduate student.
