They are adept at extracting and manipulating data from systems like SQL and Cognos, utilizing advanced tools such as R, Python, and Power BI for data analysis and visualization. Analysts take on a more leadership-oriented role, actively engaging in delegating tasks, answering queries from junior analysts, and fostering relationships within the organization.This position remains dynamic, providing opportunities for Analysts to gain exposure to various facets of the business and continue their development as future leaders within the organization. Travel may be required, with a heightened focus on leadership responsibilities and collaboration with different departments.JOB REQUIREMENTSThe ideal candidate for the Analyst role should demonstrate proficiency in the following are as:Financial AnalysisDevelop advanced financial models for executive decision-makingLead financial planning efforts and contribute to the analysis of ongoing and future projectsAssist leadership with financial analysis of on-going and future projects or programsOversee financial information gathering and reporting from owned entities across North AmericaLeverage advanced data visualization techniques and automate reporting processesData AnalysisHighly proficient in SQL, Cognos, and other data retrieval tools for efficient data consolidation and augmentationSkilled in data analysis and reportingAdvanced proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python for data analysisUtilize advanced features of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for insightful reportingProject ManagementActively delegate tasks and projects to junior analysts, showcasing leadership capabilitiesManage multiple projects for multiple departments that have an impact across TICO owned entitiesDemonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills in a deadline-driven environmentCommunication / CoordinationExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration within the team and with executivesMentor and guide junior analysts, directing them to relevant resources when neededEngage effectively with executives at the highest levels of the organizationCoordinate seamlessly with various entities within TOYOTA Industries Corporation (TICO)AccountingHelps instruct junior analysts on accounting systems and close proceduresPerform financial consolidation for entities that TMHNA has an equity stake inPerform variance analysis on consolidated financial resultsContinuously improve visualizations and reporting, implementing automation where feasiblePerform monthly close activities within SAP and North American consolidation Congos.Present in the monthly coordination call with the Japanese parent companyCoordinate and prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts for North American consolidated entitiesEDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related fieldCPA or equivalent certification or CPA certification eligible and/or JD a plusMinimum 2-3 years of experience in related fieldQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
