Our team comes from Stanford, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon, and has years of experience at the most recognized technology brands in the world, including Meta, Netflix, Samsung and more.What you will doAs a backend engineer, you will help design and implement the core infrastructure that will power a burgeoning digital multi-chain ecosystem.Design and implement secure financial systems that will purchase virtual assets from marketplaces, securely transfer NFTs between users, and move funds across chains "” all with just one click with Halliday Smart AccountsUtilize TypeScript to build services, standalone web servers, and comprehensive test suites to provide for our products and servicesUse open source blockchain SDKs to interact with numerous networks, protocols, and smart contractsBlueprint, build, and deploy both internal and external API endpointsContribute to our public JavaScript SDK that allows for easy integration with our serviceWork in an agile environment and across multiple teams: design, product, engineering, business, and moreExplore protocol design, learning from and working with our blockchain architectsContinuously think about new ways to improve our service, and how to contribute to building digital civilizationWho we are looking forA degree in computer science, similar engineering discipline or experience building and hacking on projectsExperience as a backend developer and proficient at writing applications in TypeScriptFamiliarity with web services, AWS, containerization, and cloud deploymentQuick learner and passionate about picking up new technologies and hacking on novel ideasLocated in or willing to relocate to the SF/Bay areaWhat We Offer:A role with significant autonomy to build out the next generation infrastructure of the blockchain space.Competitive compensation package, with unlimited PTO and a friendly work environment.
