Our goal is to help our clients better understand their business by keeping them regularly informed about their financial progress by discussing accounting, financial, and regulatory developments that may impact their business.The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.EMPLOYMENT STATUSExemptFull-timeRESPONSIBILITIESAs a Consulting Manager, you will:Manage and train internal staff as well as accounting personnel at client officesProvide financial statement analysis including but not limited to developing management reports and KPIsAssist with developing GAAP financial statements including the following:Preparation of bank reconciliationsAnalysis of accounts receivable and allowance for doubtful accountsAnalysis and capitalization and amortization of prepaid expensesInventory costing and valuation analysisAnalysis and accrual of expensesReconciliation of debt and accrued interestAnalysis of profit and loss statement including consideration of revenue and expense recognition principlesReconciliation of other balance sheet accounts based on the client's businessEvaluate, recognize, and provide recommendations for improvements to systems and processes within an accounting function to ensure proper internal controlsAssistance with preparation of financial projections and forecasts including analysis of budget to actual results on an ongoing basisAssistance with evaluation and analysis of debt financing and other capital-raising alternativesAssistance with buy and sell side diligenceParticipate with the Assurance department and assist with preparation, compilation, or review engagementsQUALIFICATIONS5+ years of relevant experience working in a public accounting firm or experience as a full-charge bookkeeper, assistant controller, or controller within an accounting department in industryMust be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hireManufacturing and Distribution experience is a plusSKILL REQUIREMENTSExperience with QuickBooks requiredExperience with other ERP systems like NetSuite is a plusAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookup and pivot tablesOutstanding organization and project management skillsAbility to work independently and coordinating priorities with the help of more senior members of the teamHighly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and developmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues internally and with clientsPositive attitude and excitement to learnAbility to travel to client locationsAbility to work overtime, as needed#J-18808-Ljbffr
