This individual will be responsible for a wide range of financial duties including financial modeling, financial projections, and financial analysis. Additionally, the role encompasses responsibilities in financial accounting, planning, and reporting, ensuring the company's financial operations align with our strategic goals. This is a hybrid role so candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and be willing to come to the office 50% of the time. Responsibilities Financial Strategy and Decision Support:Provide strategic guidance to the Co-CEOs and executive team on financial matters to support key business decisions including pricing strategies, expansion plans, and investment opportunitiesConduct financial analysis and scenario planning to assess the financial implications of strategic initiatives and potential risksFinancial Planning and Analysis:Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all Business Units - including Revenue, Product, and Client SuccessConduct scenario analysis to assess the impact of strategic initiativesMonitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiencyMonthly and Quarterly Financial Reporting:Prepare accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for review by the board and key stakeholders with the aid of our Sr. AccountantProvide detailed analysis and insights on financial performance, variances, and key metrics to support decision-makingRisk & Compliance Management:Assess and manage financial risks, implementing effective risk mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations and reporting requirementsTeam Leadership:Develop and mentor finance team members to enhance their skills and contribute to organizational success Collaboration:Collaborate with other executive team members to ensure alignment between financial strategies and overall business objectivesWork closely with departments such as operations, technology, and marketing to facilitate cross-functional collaborationBoard Reporting and Communication:Prepare comprehensive board reporting packages, including financial reports, analysis, and strategic updates, for monthly and quarterly board meetingsPresent financial updates and insights to the board, responding to questions and providing recommendations as neededFinancial Systems and Technology Proficiency:Demonstrated experience in financial management software or systems, with a preference for candidates experienced in financial modeling tools, and analytics platformsAbility to leverage technology to enhance financial operations, data analysis, and decision-making processesInternal Controls and Audit:Responsible for establishing and maintaining robust internal controls to ensure the integrity of the company's financial transactions and reportingCoordination with external auditors for annual audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and practicesCapital Structure and Financial Policies:Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimize financial strategy and shareholder valueDevelop and oversee financial policies and procedures to support operational efficiency and financial disciplineStrategic Partnerships and M&A Activities:Involved in evaluating and executing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or strategic partnerships, including due diligence and integration planning RequirementsCandidates must be located in the San Francisco Bay AreaProven experience as a Head of Finance or in a senior financial leadership roleExperience in overseeing day to day financial operations within a tech or SaaS environmentStrong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to make sound financial decisionsDemonstrated success in fundraising and managing investor relationsExceptional analytical skills and strategic thinking abilityAbility to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise mannerCPA or MBA in Finance is preferredBenefitsSalary Range: $172,000 - $200,000100% benefits coverage for employee401K Profit Share planFlexible PTOHome office stipend#J-18808-Ljbffr
