Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Each Item Should Account For 10% Or More)Primary focus on all refrigeration unit such as Carrier and/or Thermo King commercial refrigeration equipment designed for commercial trucks and trailers Perform Preventative Maintenance Within Company StandardsComplete Documentation of All Repair Orders, Pm List and Parts AccountabilityHandle Road Service Calls: Perform Road Rescue/Transport Equipment as NeededKeep Track of Assigned Repairs by Logging in And Out of The Shop Fax SystemMaintain A Clean and Safe Work Environment in Compliance with Workplace Safety Rules and Regulations and Government GuidelinesMaintain Inventory and Proper RecordkeepingBackup to Other Maintenance Shop PersonnelWillingness and Capacity to Assume Increased Responsibility and Certifications.Performs Other Duties as AssignedQualificationsEducation/Training:High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.Related Experience/Requirements:Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Competency Relating to Equipment RepairsSuccessfully Demonstrated Independent Analytical and Problem-Solving SkillsPrior Experience in Administering Appropriate PM ProgramMust Furnish Own Personal Hand ToolsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to Comply with EPA And Osha Regulations as Pertaining to The Shop and FleetAbility to Read and Understand Technical and Service ManualsExcellent Communication Skills: Able to Communicate with Co-Workers and Drivers with Demonstrated Teamwork SkillsAbility to Manage Multiple Functions Simultaneously in A Fast-Paced Environment with Minimal SupervisionAbility to Adapt to Changing Organizational and Operational NeedsComputer and Software ExperienceAbility to Work A Flexible Schedule Including Nights and WeekendsMust Be Able to Work Overtime When NeededAt Us Foods® We Help Our Customers Make It with Products and Services That Shape the Communities Where We Live and Work.
