Our community is where you belong.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESReporting directly to the Director of Operations & Product, the General Manager is the heart and soul of our Pure Barre studios. The General Manager is a key influencer in building the Pure Barre brand, runs the daily operations and long-term strategies of the assigned studio(s), and oversees the development of all studio sales staff. This position is integral to the FRA team.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSpecific responsibilities and duties of this role include the following:SalesKey driver of revenue growth and salesMeet financial goals, such as but not limited to: revenue, labor cost, COGS, etc.Maintain active leadership presence, assist, and coach the studio team through the sale process to meet/exceed revenue goalsImplement sales process to schedule prospects into introductory classesGenerate new leads using grassroots marketing, networking and paid social media campaignsUtilize POS system (ClubReady) to generate sales, run revenue and sales reports, track client journeys and identify opportunities to grow client loyaltyCommunicate monthly studio revenue goals to staff and update staff on progress throughout the monthCalculate month-end commission totals for sales team and submit to payroll managerUnderstand studio financials and implement expense management techniques for cost savingsLeadership/Time ManagementAvailability includes days, nights and weekends working in the studio in order to connect with staff and clientele, in studio shifts will include at least one night and one weekend day per week. Minimum of 35 hours per week scheduled in the studio working independently alongside teachers to check in clients and fully implement the sales and customer experience processesDelegate tasks and duties to sales teamAbility to troubleshoot and resolve studio emergencies as neededSchedule and lead monthly and quarterly front desk sales team meetingsCollaborate with Pure Barre GMs and Leadership to share best practices and streamline operations and sales processesCommunication - give and receive coaching within sales team and serve as a liaison to filter information to the Leadership TeamEnsure that all company-wide initiatives are executed in studioUnderstand the Pure Barre technique, and communicate regularly with the teacher training team to ensure that the technique is being delivered consistently and effectivelyStaffing and SchedulingOversee the interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training and development of all studio sales staffContinuously identify and develop high potential employees while giving in the moment feedback and coaching when necessaryCollaborate with Director of Operations & Product and Pure Barre GMs to update staff protocols as neededWith Director of Operations & Product, analyze class schedules to maximize utilization and attendanceOwn studio scheduling process including making necessary changes in scheduling software (both ClubReady and When I Work)MerchandiseWork with VP of Operations & Talent and Director of Operations & Product to strategically plan what product is needed and execute orders to support client needs and strategize sales and offersChange out retail floor and design displays weeklyOversee inventory and move between studios if necessarySpecial Events and PartnershipsWith Director of Operations & Product and Director of Marketing, organize and staff on-site pop-up classes, trunk shows, in-studio food samplings, etc.Attend events and book new leads, sign up new members and close immediate salesIdentify, follow-up with and track sales leads generated from eventsBuilding/Studio MaintenanceBe knowledgeable with troubleshooting any and all equipment issues, including sound systems and backup systems, and minimize the use of external techniciansEnsure the studio is maintained and desk staff are properly executing regular cleaningsPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONSPassionate about people and fitnessSuperior verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skillsRelates well to people; inspires trust, and builds credibility and strong relationships quicklyAstute in managing multiple relationships and the ability to keep an eye on the big picture/strategic objectives while, at the same time, handling the details of the day to day businessResourceful; able to solve problems and move forward without having all the answersBachelor's degree preferredStudio/retail management experience a plusCOMPENSATIONSalary range $62,400-$70,000 commensurate with experience (includes base salary and monthly commission).
