Description: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Box Office & Ticket Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing ticket sales, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth entry process for our venue. Your primary responsibilities will include working the line in the entrance, checking waivers, and validating pre-purchased tickets.Do not pass up this chance, apply quickly if your experience and skills match what is in the following description.Requirements:Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they approach the box office.Sell tickets to customers using our ticketing system, ensuring accuracy in pricing.Assist customers with inquiries related to ticket availability, event details, and arrangements.Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.Verify waivers and process any necessary paperwork for customers participating in events or activities that require them.Check and validate pre-purchased tickets and ensure they correspond to the correct date.Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or issues raised by customers.Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations during high-volume periods.Follow established procedures for ticket sales, refunds, exchanges, and any other related transactions/Questions.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the box office area, including ticket counters and displays.Stay updated on upcoming events, promotions, and special offers to provide accurate information to customers.Requirements:Previous experience in customer service or ticket sales is preferred but not required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and ticket verification.Proficient computer skills and experience with ticketing or point-of-sale systems is a plus.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.A positive and friendly attitude towards customers and team members.Note:This job description outlines the general nature and level of work performed by individuals assigned to this position.
