Quality Assurance General Manager, Seattle, WA Job Summary: The Quality Assurance (QA) General Manager is responsible for ensuring that the products Macrina produces are up to the artisan standards our customers expect. This position reports to the Production Manager. Duties/Responsibilities: Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet Macrina specifications for quality prior to delivery. Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits, and investigating customer complaints. Collaborates with other members of management to develop new products, production procedures, and training methods. Participates in product testing. Maintains compliance with Macrina food and workplace safety policies. Works with production, packing, and delivery managers to update and implement new procedures and training methods. Works on production floor with employees and managers throughout the production process to troubleshoot quality issues. Records production details and processes to create and maintain standardized production procedures. Effectively communicates product quality issues with different departments. Works with food safety, receiving and production, for sourcing ingredients. Working with suppliers to ensure the quality & availability of needed ingredients. Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and procedures and the ability to enforce them. Performs other duties as assigned. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education in related fields is a plus. Familiarity with Vietnamese, Spanish or Somali languages is a plus. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times. Compensation: Starting wage: $80,000 - $90,000 per year. Wage range: $80,00-$90,000 per year. Eligible for non-discretionary bonus. Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance available after 60 days. Paid time off begins to accrue upon hire. Employees may begin to use any accrued time off after 90 days of employment. The position earns 1 hour of PTO for every 15 hours worked. 401k eligibility after 1 year with the company. Employer matches 100% of the first 3% that employee contributes and 50% of the next 2% of employee contributions (Ex: Employee contributes 5%, company matches 4%) 25%-50% employee discount on products. 3 paid holidays.
