In this critical position, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing strategic business relationships within our East Coast territories in the US. You will lead negotiations, define strategic initiatives, and expand existing partnerships. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will collaborate closely with our scientific office, operations team, marketing staff, and fellow business development professionals to maximize revenue and achieve our organizational goals. Ideal candidates should have experience in business development, account management, or a related field, with a strong focus on supporting a CRO, CMO, or drug development organization. Working knowledge of bioanalytical services for both small and large molecules is a plus!As the Sr. Director of Business Development, your day-to-day activities will include:Meets or exceeds revenue target in assigned east coast territories - In Year Revenue, Pipeline and Backlog TargetsIdentifies key decision-makers within targeted organizations to establish long-term positive relationships that lead to new signed contractsActively manages entire sales life cycle through project engagement and subsequent customer maintenance with a strong focus on personalized serviceProspects, identifies, qualify, and prioritize new business leads according to strategic fit customer's current needsDrive prospective customers to participate in capabilities presentationsDevelop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clients and assume all territory management in an assigned geographic regionProvide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans, and territory management activities as requiredMaintain knowledge of competitor's offeringsServe as a mentor for other team members in support of their goalsIdentify, lead, and/or actively engage in strategic projects for global business development and process improvementsThese are skills needed to be successful:Full knowledge of large molecule bioanalytical services and marketProven track record in closing deals and driving significant top line revenueAbility to build relationships through professional sales and interpersonal skills with a disciplined and organized approachDemonstrated entrepreneurial work ethicExcellent verbal and written English communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writingStrong interpersonal skills, resulting in excellent rapport with colleagues; proven success in initiating, promoting, and maintaining communication among teamsExcellent presentation and negotiating skillsHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Ability to travel domesticallyQualifications and Competencies Preferred:Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, biotechnology), business administration, or related fieldNot less than eight (8) years' experience in business development, account management, or a related field, with a strong focus on supporting a CRO, CMO, or drug development organization.Established sales experience in life science industry and/or working knowledge of small & large molecule bioanalytical services and market is a plusThis position requires frequent domestic and international travel.BENEFITS AND OTHER PERKSMedical Insurance (HDHP with HSA; PPO), Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending Account (medical; dependent care), Short Term Disability | Long Term Disability Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (4 weeks per year), Parental Leave, Paid Holidays (12 scheduled; 3 floating), 401k with Employer Match, Employee Referral ProgramCOMMITMENT TO EQUAL OPPORTUNITYBioAgilytix provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, results of genetic testing, service in the military, or any other group protected by federal, state, or local law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
