Our client, a non-profit organization located in Fort Washington, PA, is seeking their next Benefits Specialist to join their team! This position ensures timely and accurate payroll processing, oversees employee benefits administration, and maintains compliance with federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of payroll best practices, time and attendance policies, and benefits programs.About You:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, with a solid understanding of benefits programs and payroll processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Familiarity with payroll and benefits procedures and best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail in managing sensitive employee information.About the Job:Administer employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and leave plans, ensuring timely enrollment and processing of benefits changes.Serve as a primary contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing guidance on plan options, eligibility, and claims.Manage relationships with benefits vendors and carriers to resolve employee issues and ensure service quality.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (e.g., FMLA, ACA) and assist in preparing required reporting and audits.Maintain accurate records within the HRIS and benefits administration systems, updating employee data as needed.Assist with open enrollment, new hire onboarding, and employee offboarding processes.The client is looking for this individual to start as soon as possible while operating on a hybrid workplace model at their Fort Washington, PA location. This position is a contract-to-hire role, paying up to $35 per hour based on experience.
