The successful candidates will work with the MU custodial supervisor and custodial team to coordinate weekend custodial operations throughout the Memorial Union Organization.Position DutiesLead fellow student staff in maintaining MU organization custodial coverage throughout the dayEnsure meeting rooms, bathrooms, events spaces, and common spaces are clean and ready for guestsReport problems, breakdowns, and disturbances to MU Building ManagementAssist in opening or securing doors, windows, and other access points in all MU facilitiesPass down daily reports and status of projects in both written and verbal format to other staff across shiftsCoordinate appropriate custodial response to immediate spill & thrill situations throughout all MU BuildingsParticipate in weekly meetings as part of the MU Building Operations TeamPerform other duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsMust be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of studyMust meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employmentMust meet the applicable minimal enrollment standardHigh School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling programUndergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per termGraduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per termStudent custodial experiencePreferred (Special) QualificationsExperience in leadership roleWorking Conditions / Work ScheduleContact InformationFor additional information please contact: Anthony Bergeron-Burns at commits to inclusive excellence by advancing equity and diversity in all that we do.
