Job DescriptionAt Amazon Web Services (AWS), Security is our highest priority. The AWS Security team is responsible for the security of services offered by AWS. The AWS Vulnerability Management team is responsible for driving innovative enhancements that raise the bar for how AWS employees interact with resources, systems, and data. At AWS' scale, we must invent new security tools to enable system administrators and developers to build rapidly, while maintaining least privileged access.Please make an application promptly if you are a good match for this role due to high levels of interest.The successful candidate is one who loves working with engineering and business teams across the entire AWS Security organization to understand their needs, and work with data & business intelligence engineers to design and build solutions that enable service teams to more quickly and effectively access security data. You are passionate about the data and you want to solve real business problems.As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will drive and contribute to the strategy, goals, and requirements for our data collection, transformation, and visibility tools. You will work closely with a variety of different groups including Engineering, TPMs, and cross-functional teams to ensure that teams across the organization are equipped with the tools and data resources they need to discover insights and make an impact on the products and experiences we deliver. It also requires the candidate to have solid business acumen working with product, program, and business teams to quickly understand their new product offering, gather data reporting requirements, and extrapolate its potential implications across the AWS security ecosystem. You will deliver industry-leading data capabilities that descriptive and predictive analytics, and security insights to enable real-time decision-making. You will need a deeply analytical and systems architecture mindset with the ability to tackle complex challenges and effectively influence stakeholders across AWS Security org. This is a high-impact and high-visibility role that requires not only strategic vision and inventing for the customers but also strong execution, technical depth, analytical rigor, and excellent communication.Minimum RequirementsMBA or 8+ years of relevant work experience3+ years experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition3+ years experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product3+ years experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product3+ years experience managing technical products or online servicesExperience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSightExperience in building and driving adoption of new toolsAbout the TeamAmazon Security values diverse experiences. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
