This is a fantastic opportunity to further your legal career by joining a supportive team that values professional development and provides numerous benefits aimed at fostering your growth and satisfaction at work.Compensation: DOEEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive legal representation to injured workers in workers' compensation claims, ensuring they receive maximum benefits.Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence and substantiate claims for workers' compensation cases.Prepare and file all necessary legal documents, including petitions, motions, and appeals to ensure timely proceedings and compliance.Negotiate settlements effectively with insurance companies and employers, aiming for the most favorable terms for clients while considering all aspects of their claims.Represent clients confidently and competently at hearings, depositions, and trials, providing strong legal advocacy.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all cases, managing case files impeccably to support successful outcomes.Minimum Position Qualifications:Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the State Bar of California.At least 3 years of experience in workers' compensation law, demonstrating profound knowledge and successful case handling.In-depth understanding of California workers' compensation laws and regulations.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate legal concepts and arguments.Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with high volume case loads and the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.Proven track record of negotiating high value settlements.Experience representing a wide range of injuries and worker claims.Advanced research and analytical skills to support case preparation and legal strategies.Commitment to ongoing professional development within the workers' compensation legal field.Skills:Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve disputes favorably.Advanced organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining positive client relationships and working effectively with team members.Ability to use legal and office software, including case management systems.Resilience and tenacity, particularly in challenging and complex cases.#J-18808-Ljbffr
