It's our pledge and core focus to deliver distinctive value with professional and dedicated service.What We Are SeekingWe are seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager with 4 or more years of serving clients in the independent insurance agency arena. The ideal candidate will have prior experience utilizing the Epic agency management system and proven success managing an assigned book of business (approximately $3 million in premiums). The candidate will be responsible for account rounding, cross-selling, and providing exceptional client service reflective of our 95% retention rate and high client referral rate. The Petschauer Insurance revenues are made up of 70% middle market and 30% VIP accounts (e.g. Chubb & Pure).Job ResponsibilitiesMarket new business, determine premiums, prepare & present professional proposals to clients, and maintain underwriting & marketing information by carrier.Round out existing accounts with additional lines of business and upgraded coverages, while advising clients of coverage gaps identified.Consistently promote collaboration between Commercial Lines and Life & Health departments in efforts to cross-sell products.Handle correspondence from clients, prospects and companies regarding insurance coverage, claims or administrative problems, and comply with the request on a timely basis.Assist in development and training of other Associate Account Executives.Demonstrate effective and efficient use of Epic agency management system for effective maintenance of outstanding orders, correspondences, reports and overdue items.Adhere to the agency E&O guidelines.Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma (or equivalent)License: Property & Casualty (NY)Preferred SkillsAssociate's DegreeManagement & Rating Systems: Epic & PL Rater - will train if experience with another agency management systemComputer Skills: MS Outlook, MS Teams, ZoomBenefitsHealthDentalVisionPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)Commuter Transit ProgramsCompany Paid Short-Term, Long-Term Disability and Group LifeCompany Paid Employee Assistance ProgramPaid Parental Leave401(k)Petschauer Insurance is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
