We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!The OpportunityThe Research Engineering & Design Lab within Adobe Research is looking for a Research Engineer passionate about the unique challenges involved in developing and deploying high-performance machine learning models in the cloud and on device, with a particular focus on large-scale generative models and language models. Join our efforts to turn cutting-edge research into new products and features in Adobe's web, desktop, and mobile applications, and expand what's possible in tools for creative expression.What You'll DoAt Adobe Research, you will work closely with both scientists and engineers to ensure that new technologies being developed for generative AI models, image processing, audio, video, animation, 3D, and vector graphics will run efficiently in the cloud and on device. You will help adapt models and algorithms to the limitations of different systems and devices. You will have the opportunity to:Play a key collaborative role in ambitious research projects.Be valued as a specialist in your domain of expertise.Contribute to research that can be applied to Adobe product development.Help integrate novel research work into Adobe's product.Lead and collaborate on research projects across different Adobe divisions.What You Need to SucceedKey QualificationsM.S. degree in machine learning, AI, computer science, or statistics, or equivalent experience required with an expected graduation date of June 2024 - June 2025.Passion for model optimization and high-performance computing.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $113,700 -- $211,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
