Come and join our team!C4ISR is looking for a proven and experienced technical leader to serve as the Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT) lead for the AIR6500 Joint Air Battle Management System (JABMS) program. AIR6500 is delivering JADC2 capability to the Royal Australian Air Force through large scale fully agile development and delivery. This position will be a 2 year EXPAT position based in Adelaide, Australia. The SEIT lead will partner with the AIR6500 Chief Engineer and Chief Architect responsible for the technical integrity of the AIR6500 program and inter-IPT communication and collaboration for technical matters.The AIR6500 SEIT Lead will be responsible for the following:• Lead the SEIT in ensuring that the program meets all technical requirements.• Partners with the Chief Architect to develop the Technical Solution Baseline and the overall system architecture. Maintain the Technical Solution Baseline and its technical integrity; maintain the overall system architecture.• Understand the technical impacts of changes to the baseline throughout the program lifecycle, and ability to assess value for money from a technical perspective for capability trades.• Execute a robust knowledge transfer program to execute the Program's commitment to sovereign IAMD workforce and expertise.• Lead the derivation and decomposition of system requirements and allocate product level requirements to the IPTs. Serve as the primary interface for requirements that cross IPT boundaries and do reallocation of requirements as necessary.• Manage system requirements compliance throughout lifecycle; maintain requirements integrity and manage the master requirements verification traceability matrix (RVTM)• Perform technical integration of IPTs by facilitating technical cross communication among IPTs and identifying, adjudicating and resolving technical issues across IPTs.• Be responsible for technical content, cost and schedule associated with the SEIT activities.• Evaluate alternative solutions and weigh cost, schedule and technical impact thereof.• Participate in the Develop/Make/Buy decision process.• Leads the team in ensuring development and governance of program technical plans, including, but not limited to Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), the System Integration Plan, Software Development Plan, and Hardware Development Plan.• Manage and report technical Headlight metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).• Create, execute, and maintain the SEIT Charter.• Be responsible for Control Accounts owned by the SEIT.• Manage risk and opportunity at the SEIT level.#RMSC6ISRBasic Qualifications:• Previous experience with leading and managing large international development program (>$500M)• Previous experience as a SEIT lead or Technical lead on a fully agile large scale model based engineering program.• Previous domain knowledge & experience especially in the area of Command & Control, Air Battle Management, Weapon/Combat System, and Air & Missile Defense Systems• Detailed knowledge and understanding of systems engineering processes, architecture development, product development, and integration & test.• Demonstrated ability to provide clear guidance and direction to team and prioritizing competing requirements.• Prior experience with application and implementation of Digital Transformation processes and tools• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $140,400 - $269,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.This position is incentive plan eligible.Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $161,500 - $304,300.
