Job RequirementsIncrease your chances of an interview by reading the following overview of this role before making an application.Cosmetic and/or OTC industry experienceJD from a top law schoolLicensed in NY5-7+ years of marketing, advertising, and/or regulatory legal experience at AM Law 200 firm and/or Fortune 1000 companyStrong understanding of regulations/FTC and FDA compliance relating to cosmetic and OTC drug products preferred; understanding of similar regulations outside of the US a plusAbility to form strong relationships with business leaders and serve as a counterpart to the Marketing, Product Development and R&D teamsPossesses strong communication skills - written and spoken - and a well-developed EQ; enjoys face-to-face interactions with business leaders and cross-functional partnersWillingness to learn global elementsAbility to execute in a complex matrixed environment while setting boundariesAbility to adapt to a dynamic work environmentAbility to work in a team but also manage issues independentlyMarketing savvy and strong creative thinking skillsStrong critical thinker and practical problem-solver mentalityThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,550 to $208,200. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.Position ResponsibilitiesPosition based in New York CityAdvise and counsel clients on all issues related to global marketing and advertising programs in all media and formats including TV, print, digital/social, packaging, promotions, etc.Review product and brand advertising claims; review and provide guidance on test protocols, consumer research, claim substantiation, and other support dataRespond to and manage defense of advertising and regulatory litigation, challenges and inquiries globallyProvide client education and training on relevant legal issues, develop processes and forms to support business marketing needs and efficienciesCoordinate and manage outside law firms with respect to litigation, government inquiries and investigationsAdvise and consult with all levels of the organization including senior leadership to identify critical legal issues, assess potential legal options, and provide individuals and teams with an analysis and range of possible legal solutionsExercise independent judgment related to company legal matters#J-18808-Ljbffr
