Salary Guide: £50,000 - £55,000 Plus Excellent PackageThe full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.Our client is a leading Engineering Contractor which operates throughout the UK delivering projects within the water sector and they have a new opportunity for an HR Business Partner for their offices/projects in the South/South East.You will partner and offer extensive support to the business in all aspects of HR, focusing specifically on learning & development, coaching, and talent management. As a HR BP, you will be working within complex joint venture environments. We are looking for an individual who encourages others to act boldly, think differently, and identifies opportunities to make an impact, with relevant experience within this or a similar type of industry. This role will suit someone who likes to be out and about rather than being head office based. You will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of the people plan working on such things as talent development, learning and development, resource planning, engagement, communications, and organisational effectiveness in conjunction with the wider HR team based centrally.Key responsibilities:Work closely with Stakeholders and Line Managers to build capabilities, plan and manage talent, and develop/support approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives.Drive the people agenda in line with the business and HR strategy including talent management and organisational development.Working with the central teams to design and implement key initiatives relating to areas such as talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing.In partnership with managers, take ownership of implementing the people plan.Coaching Managers and individuals.Supporting the HR service team to manage employee relations issues when required.Take an active role in future talent processes such as graduate recruitment.Undertake and lead HR project work as identified.Work closely with the L&D team to provide support in the coordination of training & development for managers and their teams in line with performance management tools.Work with the L&D team to ensure key deliverables are met, monitored, and reported.Meet regularly with the HR Director to ensure the consistency and alignment of all the HR processes and strategies (globally and locally).Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.Skills, Experience and Qualifications:Ability to build and maintain core business relationships with key stakeholders.Extensive senior Advisory/Partnering experience within a professional Human Resources function.High level of educational achievement.Extensive experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures.Knowledge of employment law principles.Excellent Microsoft skills; to include minimum intermediate level Excel and Word.CIPD qualified, preferably Chartered.Understanding and experience of manpower planning, resourcing, benchmarking, and metric delivery (Desirable).Experience in an Engineering / Construction environment (Desirable).You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong influencing skills, a flexible approach, pro-active self-starter, action-oriented, resilient with a can-do attitude.#J-18808-Ljbffr
