We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing, planning, and coordinating activities of the front desk staff to ensure prompt, courteous service to all guests and guarantee their experiences are distinctively supreme.Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.Position Information: Full-time position, hourly rate of 19 dollars. Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of guest registration and check-out processesMaintain high standards of customer service and enforce zero tolerance for poor serviceManage reservation processes for both social and group guestsTrain and supervise front desk staffAssist in maintaining budget controls and increasing transient salesEssential Functions:Manage all aspects of guest registration and check-out following prescribed proceduresAssist in administering communication policies between front desk staff, guests, and hotelMaintain and enforce high levels of customer serviceRespond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaintsImplement reservation processes for social and group guestsMaintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, room types, rates, and packagesAssist with staff documentation, including hiring, performance evaluations, and terminationsPlan, direct, and coordinate monitoring of front desk activitiesTrain staff on selling techniques, customer service skills, and hotel promotionsIncrease transient sales and maintain budget controlsDrive company vans for guests when requiredAssist with monthly staff meetingsPerform all other duties as assignedQualifications:Two years of hotel front desk experience preferredPrevious supervisory experience preferredPossession of required government licenses or certificatesStrong knowledge of front office operationsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsAbility to read, write, problem-solve, and communicate effectivelyMaintain a professional appearance at all timesPrior cash handling experienceAbility to multi-task and work well under pressureCapable of following verbal and written instructionsFlexible schedule availabilityIf you are a hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and have the skills to lead a front desk team, we encourage you to apply for this position.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will be considered for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
